Another Halloween Pic for the haunted house, these are fast and addictive. I must do speedpainting more often as the result often has more energy and life with a 1 hour painting then with a 30 hour one.

Helping a friend out with her haunted house, so I was designing some paintings to hang on the walls. All of these are low detail and high contrast to be seen in a black light + fog environment. Hopefully soon I can see how they will look in when in a suitability creepy room.

Was using the free program "Alchemy" to get some fun shapes and then I went into it with photoshop. Fast hour or two painting. Next week Thomas Gainsborough study and some paintings based off of it.

An older painting from earlier this semester. This is my "Cleanser" a member of the plague purgers in a post apocalyptic world. I went into the background and touched up the figure a little as part of finishing up the semester.

Very excited about this last Painting, taking an archetype and conveying emotion. I sometimes get too complicated or abstract with a painting, so here is a much more simplified concept. The maiden as an idea combined with a despair/hope contrast. Enjoy!

Here is my progress work going through the character design process. We have Mabel and Egar, two slightly less than upstanding members of society. As soon as I get Egar's expressions finished I am going to get some fun poses down for the both of them and hopefully launch into color.
